Donations from individuals and companies enable Arboretum Kalmthout to achieve several specific objectives, such as training young gardeners or expanding the plant collection. These donations are received via three funds: the Bench Fund, the Collection Fund and the Jelena de Belder Fund. Each fund has its own bank account.

Bench fund
We use the Bench Fund to finance the upkeep of garden benches so that visitors can enjoy the tranquillity in comfort.

Collection fund
The Collection Fund is used to implement large garden projects, such as restoration of the Conifer Lane or creating the new Director's Garden.

Jelena de Belder Fund
The Jelena de Belder Fund allows ten to fifteen work placement students to gain practical experience in a botanical garden every year.
